The Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery (KINsD) is a groundbreaking interdisciplinary science institute focused on world-class nanoscience research. Together, we are shaping the future of nanoscience, fostering an inclusive and collaborative KINsD working ethos, and driving breakthrough discoveries that have the potential to revolutionize our understanding of the world around us.

Our Research Themes

Our Research Facilities and Expertise

Shared research facilities are at the heart of the KINsD. We house state-of-the-art facilities for cryo-EM, super-resolution microscopy, mass photometry and mass spectrometry.

In addition to being open for use by all of our Kavli Oxford members, the facilities can be accessed by researchers from outside our institute or outside the University of Oxford.
